New Pastor

More accustomed to a younger congregation, the Main Hall at Crossley Fields Infant and Junior School in Wellhouse Lane Mirfield was the venue on Saturday 7^th October 2006 for a somewhat different kind of assembly. Around 200 people joined the membership of neighbouring Mirfield Evangelical Church as Nick Fuller was officially inducted as the new Pastor of the church which was originally started some 20 years ago.

33 year old Nick and his wife Sarah have both recently finished courses of study at the Evangelical Theological College of Wales at Bryntirion, Bridgend and the call to West Yorkshire follows the departure of John Harris who retired as Pastor of the church earlier this year.

Originally from Truro in Cornwall, Nick holds a PhD in Microbiology and for 10 years was a Research Scientist at Warwick University before leaving secular employment to work full time in the Christian ministry.
